Back of the unit
How to Set the Time
First power on the clock.
Then on your phone go to the wifi settings and look for the SSID "GreatScott"
3. Connect to GreatScott and wait a few seconds.
On Android you will likely get a warning saying the Wifi Network does not have internet access. Simply click the notification and tell it to keep connected to the network.
iOS devices will not show you are connected to Wifi but as long as it shows a check mark next to the GreatScott Wifi network you can proceed.
Tap the notification at the top
4. Open up your browser on your phone and type in 192.168.4.1 in the search bar.
5. Enter in the correct time you want it set to and press the submit button. (Note: the hours should be in 24Hr format! For example: 4PM = 16)
How to Change Brightness
Follow steps 1-4 from the Set the Time procedure but scroll past the time set section and enter a value between 0-15.
How to Replace RTC Battery
You will need to remove the RTC module from the back of the unit and replace with a regular coin cell battery. These are pretty easy to find. The specific battery is a CR2032.
unplug the clock so you don't have any LED's lit up
Remove the module on the back. This is the module next to where you plug in the USB cable. You simply need to pull it straight out of its connector.
Flip the module over and replace the CR2032 by pulling back the clip on the one side. I recommend a pair of tweezers or a flat headed screwdriver
Reinsert the module, paying close attention that the pins line up with the connector. The pin labeled GND should be inserted into the connector closest to the USB connector.
